welp...i called it a day. Ended up seeing a hen sneak up behind me that just stood and very faintly clucked while looking at my decoys. Never did hear another gobbler. The hens seem to not care to cross over the creek...now if I can get the boys on the other side. Oh well...ill try another day. Dont guess it was too bad for my very first day every attempting turkey hunting. I guess i accomplished something by getting him close from a good ways away. He just hung up.
