@Seabee I have one exactly like that that I bought around 10 years ago. It has the 26" heavy barrel as well and the twist rate is 1:12. I hand-loaded for it but I never could get bullets over 50 grains to stabilize at long range. Maybe I didn't have a heavy enough charge though because I began at the minimum in the Hornady manual and was working up in 1/10 grain increments. Need to drag that out after deer season and pick the load development back up.Do you know the rifling twist rate?
I had a neighbor years ago in Maryville that was into 22-250 and 220 swift. He reloaded. Neither one seemed to like the beginning charges.
