That statement would make since if Tennessee got lucky and beat a good KY team once in last few years .Statements like this are why Kentucky basketball fans are the alabama football fans of basketball!
Since UT has won 10-17 including 2 outta 3 this year.....that statement is silly.

Guys, if we make more baskets than the other team we're gonna win most of our games. If we had done that all year we would have been undefeated, so we should probably have a #1 seed…
Thrilled we won, got worried at the end we were just too careless with the ball and at the free throw line. But glad they stuck it out.
Not a very smooth looking basketball game for the majority of it, one stretch in the first half was awful rough to watch. On the other hand there was a stretch where it reminded me of the mid 90s NBA which was really fun. Dunks, blocks, big men banging bodies and the refs letting them play for the most part.
What little bit I've watched of other teams games I've seen some pretty sorry shooting and I think part of it is this arena they're playing in must be a tough place to shoot. You get these tournaments in random places with weird layouts and it can really throw off your shooting rhythm. I do think we played really good defense but I can't attribute UK's awful 3 point shooting solely to that.
Really, really hope we don't have a letdown today.

Barnes knock is lack of post season success, so while a W tomorrow would be nice, he really needs to make a deep run in the tournament to get that monkey off of his back.

What was your point KY couldn't hit a 3 so they lost?
UT shot under 70 % from the Foul line Even if KY hit 3 more 3pointers which is dumb to say.. all I would have to say is well IF UT would have shot 90% from the Foul line they would have won.... we can play the IF game all you want.
Fact is 2-1 better team usually wins series... UT is the better all around team ,and they have proven that.
The freshman play a huge part anyone can see that. They are leading the team in points, steals, assist, and minutes? Come on man I'm done with you lol go tell Cal his team needs to work on 3point shots it was horrible only if They would have hit 3 more they MIGHT have won
