SEC tournament

It's great to be a Tennessee Vol!

In the simplest terms we kept playing to win and never shifted to "playing not to lose". That kept them at bay all day even when they made pushes.

Really happy for these kids especially our older guys and coach Barnes. Not settling and am ready for them to make a run but it's a good day on Rocky Top!

I know A&M talks like they never get tired but to me it looked like a team playing it's 4th game in 4 days.
In stark contrast to last years team, and really the past several teams, we are playing our best ball at the end of the year. Like I've said before talent wise I don't know that this is the best bunch we've watched, maybe top to bottom there's more depth. But, we've got a group of kids playing for each other and playing the best they have all year so we'll see how it goes starting next week.
College basketball, especially tournament time is a funny sport and nothing is guaranteed

Looks like Longwood then Michigan or Colorado state.

I like the Vols chances to Clash with more then likely Villanova in the sweet 16.

Very true which we are definitely capable of laying an egg for sure.
Hopefully we keep playing to our potential and see just how far we can take it.
 
I'm no mathematician, but being ranked AP #5 should equal being the first 2 seed.

I guess 13 stright Ws and winning the SEC tournament to finish top 5 isn't good enough.

How can you justify finishing with with same confidence record as Kentucky. same overall record as Kentucky. Tennessee is ranked higher then KY they won the head to head against KY 3 to 1 .......beating them twice in a row. ..once on there way to become the SEC tournament Champs...... but let's give Ky the 2 seed makes total since.

BTW Tennessee strength of schedule was better also. I think rated #1 crazy. O well I think this may keep them motivated

You can't justify any of it. The selection committee was smoking crack. That's the only reasonable explanation.
