I prefer Leupolds are my preferred scopes, some what cheap for pretty good quality IMO

I had a wealthy friend that had Swarovski scopes on his guns and a $3,000 pair of their binoculars. The quality and clarity is mind boggling. I would never pay that, but if you have money to burn the quality is incredible.

Zeiss scopes are garbage. I only use Tasco's. I prefer the 4 x15mm. They work well in low light conditions.

Walmart has a good heal on them too.

Usually when the spot light dies or the yeller acorns run out, whichever comes first.

Are you sure about that? I think Zeiss owners have a waiver.

Seriously, I don't hunt open fields so this has never been an issue for me. Typically it's too dark in the woods before legal shooting time ends. I have seen full moons so bright you could probably shoot all night in a big field though.
