Tn is actually pretty cheap for a NR compared to a lot of states. Try going up to IL to hunt.
THIS !

It's unreal all the cost I have spent on out of state hunting.
No wonder so many people spin the dial and just hunt without a license from out of state. I would not. But surprised that.people do.

No kidding...

I've already forked out $616 for 2 kids this fall... kid #3 may be hunting next weekend, so that's close to a $1000. That's the most I've ever spent, since all are now are older than 15, and this could be the first year all 3 have hunted the same year since they were younger/ cheaper.
its a simple answer buy land or buy license!!

Any estimates on what TN spends on corn in the fall to attract deer?
More than what they spend bottle feeding them to maturity or killing coyotes to increase their deer herd.

That was my original question…… WHAT does TWRA or any DNR do to warrant charging hundreds for an out of state granddad to go sit in the woods one afternoon with their grandkids for a minuscule chance to kill a deer?

I paid the license fee and even bought some orange hats for the kids and literally sorry I started this SHAT SHOW thread.

How dare you try to steer this runaway train back on topic
