This has always been a task for us as well with our homestead, but we've found more consistent results with Facebook Marketplace & with our local scrap yard. with all the farm properties near us in Dickson, TN selling and subdividing, in the summer time, we used to see lots of t-posts dropped off by construction crews. Hope this helps! At FB marketplace our local price is usually $3-4ea and scrap yard tends to cost about $1.25ea by weight, but many are usually bent up a bit.
