Still hanging on to those early wins? The ones at Florida Field with SEC officials? I guess that's all you can do with a losing record to a girls school over the last 40 years. Heh

Reading comprehension is your friend. I'll go slow for you. Since 1976, which team has won more games?

Ah... No need to slow it down on my account. No matter how you spin it, a records a record! Maybe you should go back and look again. The first game was played in Tally in 1964 and has been rotating back and forth ever since. Oh, and I should mention the Gators went on a 9 game winning streak from '68 till '76 with 5 of those played in Tally. :tu: Making excuses for where a games were played or who officiated really don't pan out, but hey, what ever makes you feel better.

I think you meant the first time the Gaters would play in Tally was 1964.The first game played was in 1958.That game and the next 5 were played in Gunsville. The 1964 game in Tally was the first win for the Noles and was against the great Steve Spurrier. The games have been home and away since then.Yes the Gators had a 9 game win streak with 4 of those in Gainesville, then came Bobby Bowden in 1976 and changed all that.

Yes, I meant the first time they played in Tallahassee.

Actually the first game played was in 1902.1902-04
Thirty-three years after Princeton and Rutgers kicked off
American college football, the Florida State College played three
seasons of football in Tallahassee. From 1902-1904, FSC played
wearing the colors purple and gold. The 1904 squad was
crowned state champions after defeating the University of Florida
at Lake City and Stetson.

One more time for you since your reading comp has most certainly failed you. This is the question and the only question I asked: Since 1976, which team has won more games?
Simple question, don't you think? There can be only one answer. UF or FSU. Which one is it?

BTW, there is no need to confuse (spin) the question. No need to spout off about streaks, both teams have had them. Starting a conversation about streaks has absolutely nothing with the one and only question I asked. Nor does when the two teams started playing.
