Like that first set of horns. I have found sheds, skull and horns like your first just not as big, a knife and 3-4 deer stands with tree growed around them.

Found an old mule shoe on my family property. Mature timber standing on it now, but used to be plowed fields when my Dad was just a young teenager. For all I know he might have been the one plowing when it came off. Still had the nails in it. Also found the head of a Peter's 12 ga shotgun shell. An older acquaintance of mine told me it was dated to back in the 20s. I just have to wonder who fired that shot, could have been my great grandfather even, but if it's like it is today back then, probably a stinking poacher. :)

In Hardeman County found a still and a large number of broken glass containers. The still showed signs of damage-great big slashes in drums, small diameter pipe beat flat.

I went through the mound of broken glass looking for something to salvage but no luck.

In the Wolf River WMA I found a climbing tree stand.

I have found quite a few dead deer skulls, but no real big ones. It is hard for me to understand the number of random beer cans I find an hours walk from the nearest road. I find these all the time. I know tornadoes and storms can place them there from far away, but I see this all the time. We found a Hickman County Sheriff's hat on an old property we used to own in Coble. A prisoner had escaped from the Turney Center prison and had apparently crossed our property and they caught up to him shortly after. Found a bus in the middle of a steep hollow in area 15 at LBL - would love to know the story behind that

I found a 1854 1/2 dime ! it had started raining hard and i was trying to get out of the rain by standing under the remains of an old house that was falling in. Kicking around in the dirt where the front porch would have been, i saw a little black button and picked it up and put it in my pocket. turns out it wasn't a button, and by putting it in my pocket, the silver started showing thru . A 1/2 dime is tiny, so that was extreme luck i spotted it.

Found a mentally ill person caught in a briar thickett one time too. that was a strange day.

There's a school bus on it's side in the woods at my lease in Henderson county. It's at least a half a mile off the nearest blacktop. I'd love to hear the story on that.

Not much to the story. I was going to hunt our back 80 acres which I used as a "sanctuary" for the deer. I drove my 4 wheeler to where i was going to park and looked up at the end of a thicket and saw a woman who looked scared to death stuck in a blackberry briar patch. I drove up to her and she said in a paranoid voice, "They sent you for me didn't they?" . I had no idea who "they" were, but it was obvious from her demeanor that her cheese done slipped off her biscuit. I was calm and spoke nice to her, and finally figured out the direction from which she came. I knew there were some houses a couple miles away, and took her to the nearest house. Those people knew who she was and they took her to where she was came from. THey confirmed she was mentally ill and was visiting someone nearby, and had wandered off..

Glad it all worked out and she was safe.

Started to sound like the beginning of a horror story....if only it was right at dawn and it was foggy, maybe a cemetery nearby

I agree with beer cans they do wind up everywhere... also have found several of those foil balloons. Found a crescent wrench hanging from a tree branch once. I also ran across a trail of mayfield milk jugs this yr which was weird.

One of the camps I hunt with in Mississippi has an area called "the spooky place". It's pines planted real close together that have gotten tall. It stays kinda dark in there. There's a trail through there that leads to a ladder stand. I was going through there one afternoon headed to the ladder stand and right off the trail was a pair of jeans, a shirt, socks, and tennis shoes. No idea where it came from but it freaked me the helll out.

I lost a GPS one year and found it a year or two later. Sent it to manufacturer and they fixed it for me. Used it for several years after it was repaired.
