As a kid....playing in the woods I found an electric guitar, amp, .243 bolt action rifle, some silverware....as a kid I knew something wasn't right....ran back to house.... parents called the police....they collected the items....I asked what will happen to the stuff? Officer said that if nobody claimed it that it would all be mine! As a young boy that .243 was looking good! But thankfully the items were returned to the owner.....also have found a few deer skulls and sheds......and always love finding morels in the spring.

Found pot plants in a bucket , skull antlers , found a flashlight from the previous year (still worked) tree stands and not from our hunters , balloons , and hunting hats . Don't know if it's true but a guy I used to work with son was bow hunting a public piece of property watched a couple come down into the woods a little ways from him and make whoopee while he was in the stand

A friend said he found a Cessna airplane once
Rode a dirt bike up on it. It had crashed a few years before. Nobody was hurt.

also have found several of those foil balloons.

Every year I find several of these. I guess there's a bunch of people setting them free.

Found a pink one, and a blue one separately this season alone on my place. And speaking of, had a young buck stroll up to the pink one, sniff it, and casually continue on his way. :)

I found an old black bag, like a Dr. would carry when they did home visits, about a mile or so from any roads. I opened it and it was full of adult magazines and other adult things you wouldn't want to pick up. I found an old Mason jar with a bag of pot, hemostats and a lighter sealed up in it. All kinds of deer heads a baby doll or three and a lot of random household junk where tornados have went through.

Two different occasions I've walked up on couples while fishing in CNF. One couple was a male and female and the other was both females

Found a bus in the middle of a steep hollow in area 15 at LBL - would love to know the story behind that

There's a school bus on it's side in the woods at my lease in Henderson county. It's at least a half a mile off the nearest blacktop. I'd love to hear the story on that.

There is a old car of some sort in Area 13 at LBL, but there is an old logging road there, so that is not as strange, but I wondered why it was abandoned there.

There is a rock quarry in Murfreesboro. Used to you could fish in there. I was in there one day and walked out to the top of the cliff, and the sun was getting ready to set. I guess this couple thought it was a romantic setting... I tried my best not to laugh, but I think some peeped out. I went back and about 30 seconds later here they come doing the walk of shame.

Several days after the tornado outbreak in April 2011 I was walking through the woods and finding all sorts of debris. Most of it was construction stuff, insulation, shingles, pieces of siding etc. I did find a baseball card and a canceled check from someone in Rainsville Alabama. Rainsville is around 120 miles away.
I was curious about the cancelled check and Googled the name on it which led me to an obituary. Seems the man whose name was on the check had perished in the storm along with his wife and Mother. It really gave me a weird feeling knowing the horror that they must of gone through.
On a lighter note............my area of the county was called the moonshine capital. My property has a Spring running through it and i've found the remains of a couple of stills. No copper but plenty of old rusted out 55 gallon barrels, pieces of pipe and mason jars.
I've also found a couple of old horseshoes, old whiskey bottles, and what was once a logging chain.

Pretty awesome hearing all the things found while hunting hearing the stories reminded me while turkey hunting with a friend one year we were up on the mountain in East tn hunting when we found an old granny night gown and one of those small Oriental rugs. Tried to get my friend to get on the carpet and fly around the mountain and we might catch up with those mountain birds that kept evading us all day. He said I was crazy probably am, also tried to get him to try on the granny gown he wouldn't do it I thought it was pretty funny. Then we found a pair of blue jeans on top of the mountain way up in a tree. I guess all the stuff was from tornadoes somewhere else crazy how far stuff goes from tornadoes.

It's not just me then. I've also walked up on couples 2 different times while fishing up Doublecamp Creek. There's probably been more kids conceived in CNF than we can imagine. I also walked up on a bunch of bikers sitting in lawn chairs in Abrams Creek at the campgrounds. This one gal had her bikini top pulled down like that's the way she rolled. She didn't belong in a bikini. They offered me a beer, but I just fished my way on through.
