Todays sheds

Nice finds! I am curious if u have a routine for your search, if they turn up consistently in certain spots (ie food plots), or if it's just random finds? Thanks
Not to disagree with the OP, to each their own, but I find it really hard to find sheds on a bright sunny day because everything looks the same to me when the sun is reflecting off of it. I only go on cloudy/overcast days and mainly concentrate on feeding areas, fence rows, and field edges. As you can see in the photo on cloudy days the woods are muted and dull looking so the antlers really stand out when compared to the other features.

They stand out like beacons to me on sunny days especially in fields with the polarized glasses on.

In 2 hrs of walking today I found only 1 and some nice rubs. I walked field edges and outside some cedar thickets that are considered sanctuaries . Nice treat left beside it.

Trust me on the cades cove its not a good ideal 😂😂😂 dont ask me how i know 👮‍♂️ they are serious about it😂😂
You don't want to shoot them either with a silenced rifle, cut their heads off and keep them in your hotel. Oh wait , only buttholes from FLORIDA would do that!!!

Found these in about an hour of walking. It never gets old to me.
I have looked and looked for sheds with very little luck!

We are mostly a pass through for bucks, and I bet they just don't spend enough time right in this area postseason.

I too normally find them on cloudy days, but I've never tried looking for them with a pair of polarized sunglasses on. I may have to try that this weekend. Now, I just need to get the sun to cooperate on one of my days off.

I was intrigued by this and just went and threw 2 sheds into the yard. I knew exactly where they were, but the sunglasses really gave a lot of contrast between the antlers and the green/brown grass. I'll walk our cut bean fields this weekend and see if it helps.

There is no skill involved or I couldn't do it, only lots of walking. If you promise to never vote Democrat again I'll take you with me.

I have some older polarized Maui Jim's that I love. They highlight certain things for me like sheds and fish and certain colors in the ocean. Glad it worked for you.

I walked for an hour yesterday and had no luck, just good exercise.
