I don't know what the deal is here but I got a couple of bucks on the camera a couple of days ago which still have their antlers.

I saw some mature bucks carrying half a rack in late December while hunting and some are carrying both sides now. Not uncommon to see some holding on in early April.

Thanks! @TNTreeman said he prefers sunny days while wearing polarized sunglasses and I have always preferred cloudy days so today I mixed the two strategies together and wore polarized sunglasses on a cloudy day and it worked like a charm!

Also saw a 130+ inch 8 point on the way in working the edge of a crop field still holding.
Very cool. I need to check around our main buck area.
One question: did these bucks not have lip gloss
with them this time? 
First shed hunt of the year this week. I knew it was too early but itching to go; however, a bit shocked to not find a single shed from this year…yet. Walked 5.4 miles on a good cloudy day…my preference. Also retrieved a deer stand to make it a full day. Found a shed from a 6pt with a 22" main beam and 5" base!!

60-70% still holding on my places in Claiborne
Most of mine have shed, but still getting a few half racks
I've been working long hours so not much shed hunting but my last few a couple weeks ago yielded me zero.
