Tree stands left in the LBL woods

Ladder stands, loc on stands...in violation of LBL regs...No name, address, on the stands and left beyond the 5 day after season closure rules to be out..I come across them daily back in the woods as I take down illegal flagging, "Bright eyes", and other items left...The trash on the side of the roads and in the woods has gotten totally out of hand...
If you want to see trash take a walk through the high water areas along the lakeshore. You could fill a landfill with all the crap that settles there when the water goes down. Absolutely sad and disgusting.

That's how it is in the Miss River Bottoms. You can be walking 3 miles deep off in the woods and come up on a kids play set and only God knows what else. That's just how things are on these big river systems.

The banks of the TN NWR are covered in trash.. like you can barely step without stepping on something.

Natchez Trace is also pretty bad with beer cans from atv riders, joy riders, and horse riders

It's pretty sad our public grounds are like a dump. Chickasaw Refuge, John Tully, and Sunk Lake in Lauderdale are the same exact way. The only difference is that it's spread throughout thousands and thousands of acres and not just on the bank.

I imagine a good part of that came from the Waverly / Humpreys county flood last year. Still a lot of clean up to be done.

I went to a couple of places in Arkansas this weekend. I wonder what duck hunters success rates are for collecting decoys.. I found them every few minutes of walking

I'd imagine its just as good over there as it is over here. I have a stack 3-5 dozen of filler decoys that I've found scattered throughout the woods along the Miss River. Bunch of old school decoys too. I'll shoot them full of foam and paint them black. Works pretty good as long as you're not walking in somewhere.
