I think Coach Napier will fit in better at Fla. Mullen was a great coach but from New Hampshire and a bit odd. You can be odd if your lighting it up but it can be a reason to can you otherwise.

Why hire a guy that NEVER liked to recruit?
Or did UF not know that till after he stopped winning 10 games a year.
Figured he didn't get the big time recruits while at MSU. Obviously they didn't think it would turned out like this or they wouldn't have. Would thought at a school like UF he could snag plenty of talent. Can't compete still recruiting players like he did at UF.

I think he lost the locker room this year. That team gave up on him. They are far more talented than what they have shown
He actually lost them last year after the LSU game. He wanted NFL job. Didn't get one and I think he checked out then. A lot of behind the door stuff.

Dude has over 100 sec wins pretty impressive for a guy who can't get talent.
UT won 7 games with 69 scholarship players left by week 12 ...... you can't tell me UF didn't have enough talent to win 7 games in that conference.

Not saying that. He was checked out. Didn't care. Why play Emory at QB when on y wasn't cut for it in his 4th year! Made a DC fire at the end of the season. Made a OL fire at the end of the season. Play calling was complete trash all year except the Bama game. Plays down to competition (see Bama game) started AR against UGA for his very first start (why?) knowing what was gonna happen. Could have killed his/any confidence he had. When he first came to UF he had playmakers from the previous coach. Year 4 when all the main leftovers were gone, it shows the recruiting over the last few years.
I will post a timeline clip of pressers he had. You can see the excitement when hired to present.
But maybe you know more about UF than I do.
And to say he has a 100 wins. He was at MSU for I think 8 years. Lol so yeah. That adds up.
