Haha well this guy in here is/was on a whole knee level. Think he was just waiting on the first to respond to his post so he could really show how stupid he was. Hahaha

It seems he was gunning for you but how did he know you would question his post?
Don't think he was gunning for me. Bcse I wasn't even really in this thread commenting
He knew about your recent vehicle purchase, your stove in the classifieds, some altercation you were involved in. Dude was stalking you.

Just another pos trying to get a rise.
Simple click and its over.
Thanks to whoever used the report button.

My ovens were on the front page in the CF and the Land River was also. He probably didn't like me asking about him killing turkeys to feed his dogs. I haven't been in any altercations with anyone. Kinda weird.

Makes sense. Either way I'm guessing he's like the Civil War. History.

And that gators still suck.

Haha I know. But still good enough to win the East two years in a row. ;)

O/U on the Vols to win 3 games this year? :stir: :rotf:

Just watched the video...

If that bird is doing the same thing in front of me within 25 yards, I'm smoking him right in the noggin and he's dead 100% of the time. No wasted meat, no bird getting away. Period.

If that bird is more than 25 yards away, I'm getting him to break strut and stick his neck up and shooting 1/2 way between the waddles and head and he's dead 100 % of the time (out to 40 yards). NO WAY I'm shooting at a bird in full strut past 25 yards... been there, done that when I was a kid... I know better now.

This was the same rule of thumb I went by back when I shot them in strut WITH LEAD shot (1998-2002 era). The few I attempted at over 25 yards WITH LEAD shot, and the results that followed, are what left a bad taste in my mouth. Both birds were in a field with hens, and both birds were 30-40 yards strutting, locked up like a drum, looking straight at me. Needless to say, I stung both of them pretty hard, but I did not recover either. Now that I mainly hunt woods, and the birds are typically approaching solo, and almost always without any hens, they darn near always run their head up looking for the hen they are trying to find, which is when I typically fire my gun. Basically when they come out of strut to look for me, I burn'em.
