seems like a pretty good one.

Will Ignont 4* inside linebacker ranked #9 inside linebacker in the class of 2017.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Ignont chose the Vols over LSU and UCLA, along with scholarship offers from at least 20 other schools (including bama :tu:) , less than two weeks after he visited Tennessee for the first time to attend its home game Oct. 15 against top-ranked Alabama.

"It was great. I fell in love with it," Ignont told GoVols247 last week following his trip to Tennessee. "It was nice. I just liked the campus and the coaching staff, and Coach (Butch) Jones, he's real cool."

Size is one of the things that immediately jumps off the page when taking one look at Ignont. Scout.com lists him at 6'2" and 232 pounds. The Opening's Twitter feed showed off his massive biceps in a photo posted on Feb. 22:

Because of his physically imposing frame, it's impossible to miss Ignont when watching some of his highlights:

He will be a good one. UF was looking at him.... Lighten the blow of Maybin leaving. Which I am sure he will leave. He should anyway.

I'm not sure maybin leaves.

Ignont was a silent bama commit, but something changed. They may have cooled on him because of some maturity issues, or vice versa. Either way, it's a pretty big get.

"It was tough," he said. "But after sitting down and talking to my parents, that just wasn't the best spot or the best fit for me.

"A lot of people say that you have to go to Alabama to go to the NFL or to be successful. But the NFL is full of guys from all over the country, even schools that people have never heard of. They just pave their own way. I think I can do what I've set out to do and accomplish my goals without going to the University of Alabama."

will on bama sounds like he just changed his mind.

It was reported his top 4 after this was LSU, Auburn, Michigan and UCLA. Vols kinda came outta no where.

Lol, yeah right!

Pretty sure he is right. Bama already has a 5* and a 4* committed. Always want to try to get those but Bama will be just fine without one or two local kids.

Plus no telling how many more ahead of him being redshirted or Sophs & Jrs. That's why TN looks attractive. He has a good shot of being on the field next fall.

I still find it unconscionable that Bama can keep getting these hi-ranked kids with their knowing that they most likely will have to sit at least two years in most cases.

Yeah I know. But I guess even if they sit and when their time comes they know how it will turn out. Most of the time it turns out in the first or second round. We all need to just be ok with it till Saban retires.
