It is a .404 Jeffery case necked down to .308.Explain what the 7.82 warbird is please.
How did the DZ trip go? Did you shoot the 1000? I live a few miles from there and go out there when I can.I just loaded 90 rounds of 7.82 Warbird. Going to Dead Zero on Monday to make that 1,000 yard target pay.
Using 220 gr SMK, with 90 gr of IMR 7828, which I am out of now. Does not take long to use up 2 lbs of powder making these rounds.
I hadn't heard of it either. Here is some interesting reading.Explain what the 7.82 warbird is please.
Interesting. That's where the 300 Remington SAUM came from.It is a .404 Jeffery case necked down to .308.
I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going on Labor Day with some friends. How did the DZ trip go? Did you shoot the 1000? I live a few miles from there and go out there when I can.
Heck I may be out there on Labor Day even.I'll let you know how it goes. I'm going on Labor Day with some friends.
One of the best loads I have tested for this rifle is: 300 gr SMK, 78.4 gr of IMR 4350. /QUOTE]
78 grains of 4350 is going to make a nice bang.
I used to drool over the idea of having a Lazzeroni rifle when I was a kid.I hadn't heard of it either. Here is some interesting reading.
You'd have to reload, or be rich, to shoot it much.

John Lazzeroni's long and short magnums are the fastest of their kind. His rifles are no slouches either.www.rifleshootermag.com
I dont have a Lazzeroni Rifle. Mine is a Sako TRG-S.I used to drool over the idea of having a Lazzeroni rifle when I was a kid.
Well Tonto, you sure aren't the Lone Ranger in that! Today I worked on about 700 5.56 cases that were crimped. Had to stop before I got them all finished cause of cramps from working the press ram. lolStill decapping 9's. Got about 500 done. Not quite halfway done.
I thought my 223's were waiting on chamfering but bad news I have 1500 crimped primer pieces. Thought they were all done. This is painful. hours of swaging. oh well.
