Was lucky enough to have my dad with Saturday evening. We went looking for a good bluff to fish till midnight. Ended up on the east side of the lake south of the bridge coming out of Paris. As we pulled into our second cove, we were greeted with a pair of Seagulls dropping on bait, and the water starting to pop...

40 mins, later we were EXHAUSTED. we caught whites from 12 to 14 inches till our bodies just gave out. He is 72, I'm 50... we kept a few, but mostly just had a blast trying to contain the chaos.

He had never seen anything like that, while I had some schooling white bass experience in Texas. it was absolutely nuts. we were using the wrong bait for it (whopper plopper), but still had way too much fun. Ended up pulling a 22 inch striper out of the mix as well. We left them biting, and were truly wiped out. After Dark, we were repositioned north of the bridge, and were lucky to catch a single largemouth. Instead of our normal 1 am departure, we left around 9 pm.
