Really... Bobby Bowden was no saint??? Didn't Bowden and FSU have to forfeit/vacate some games. I'm not even sure Pell or Meyer had to do that.

This thread has got the Vol fans coming out of the wood work. Hiring a new OC can make or break a program. Exhibit 1, would be Muschamp and him hiring the wrong OCs cost him his job. When Debord was at Mich. they won lots of their games with good "D" and an avg. offense. There's no doubt that this was a Good Ole Boys hire from the CMU days. Time will tell and lots of Vol fans are questioning this hire besides rival fans poking fun of it. Who knows, TN might look good in the I-formation and Dobbs becoming a drop back passer..... :tu: Debord hasn't coach qbs since 1986 and we all know how he made Brady a 6th round draft pick..... op:

So Bobby losing 11 games because of an online music class that he didnt teach or monitor equates with all the crap Meyer covered up at UF. Debord has been a coach for 30 years and didnt forget everything because he was an administrator for 2 years. Well Florida didnt lose games although they should have ,but they lost 5 years while on NCAA probation. Now back to Meyer, I believe you are LEO GnB do you think Meyer is a stand up guy? He could have ended Hernandez reign of terror long ago. Even had Tebow try to convert him,so he knew about the shootings in Gainesville with Reggie and the Pouncey twins and Hernandez.

I know there's an article out there about the 30 some arrest that FL had under Meyer. When you take a closer look there was a good # of driving and drinking offenses (suspended/revoke license/underage drinking) that were used in those #s because misdemeanor citations are counted as arrest. Most people looking at that article wouldn't realize that. Now did Meyer have some bad apples and were there some felony arrest involved? "Yes"

Lets use Hernandez for example. We want to blame Meyer for that bad apple because he met the kid a few times during his recruitment. How about the NFL (Pats) that pays millions of dollars to do backgrounds checks on these kids before they are drafted. The Pats had the most to lose since he was a big investment and they still drafted him. It's also funny that the other players you mentioned also went to the NFL.

FSU fans sure can't throw rocks when you are talking bout allegations or players being arrested.... :tu:

I just checked, and the definition of Internet troll is very broad. I did find that nowhere does it state that a well written and thought out negative opinion of ut vol football program makes an individual a troll, even on a tn deer hunting site where the majority of posters are vol fans.
