Worst fans in the SEC

I did not mean to lead on that in the stadium or arena is where anyone should expect any trouble. Personally, I would love to go to neyland simply because it would be the biggest sporting event I would ever attend besides talledega and I wouldn't worry about it. (Unless I was wearing a vandy shirt and we won) :) my friends just always joke that they won't walk to or from the car with us. Haha.

Anyways, I think that every university has fans that they should be ashamed to have and they come out on the most emotional games.
I feel like the worst fans in the sec one week can be the best next week.
 
I was at the last Vanderbilt game in Neyland when Vandy won a thriller that came down to the wire. The only thing I witnessed was outside in the street some drunks from both sides jawing at each other. From my experience, you would be just fine and treated well, but there's always a bad apple.

I don't need to call a buddy and you are clueless. I'm guessing I probably know more about Neyland Stadium and the fans there. Why don't you tell us about the 3 times you been there and you have never visited the swamp.

You have proved to us how some UT fans act by the way you handled yourself on this post. Another poster pointed that out and carry on.... :)
 
Yeah. I'm real worried about Updyke posts. You are right on one point. And one point only. I've never been to the swamp. Too many friends that visit all the sec stadiums have told me why they will never go back. I'm sure they are liars though. Right Gnb?

And I have been in Neyland more than you... That's two points. Also I have witnessed how some UT fans have treated other fans. You wouldn't notice since you would be wearing orange. I would call that point # 3 and check-mate... :)

I only listed some of the fans that could expect to be treated harshly. If the vol fans are so terrible and you are paid to be there, why can't you donut chasers stop it?
 
Irony is Spur posting on a thread about worst fans. Some people don't see how rancid their schtick is. Miserable people tend to attempt to drag everyone else down to their level. Truly sad.
 
I talked to a friend last week that is a lifelong, diehard UT fan that felt that UT had to have the worst fans, but he didn't know it until he went to Neyland to cheer on his nephew who was playing for UT Martin in one of the annual paid wins that most schools have. You see, he had always been to Neyland dressed in orange, but changed his colors when his nephew played there, and upon leaving the stadium after the sound thrashing that was expected, numerous fans, young and old, male and female, taunted he and his family which included 2 young girls. The names which his girls were called he would not repeat, but he was also challenged to many fights and taunted for being a fan of such a bad team. He is a LEO, but finally had enough and offered to accept the challenge of one of the mighty UT throng, who backed down when he was told that my friend was actually a UT fan supporting family, and that his fellow orange nation so embarrassed him that he was considering switching allegiances.

I'm sure that this happens at other schools, but don't fool yourself into thinking that UT is better than Bama or LSU or UF. This man had been born and raised on UT football, but had never noticed how UT fans treated other people, including little girls, to make themselves look big.

What is truly sad (and you know this because you live it every single day) is a 50 something year old adult bandwagon alabammer fan that doesn't hunt coming to a TENNESSEE HUNTING forum to troll the loyal home state Tennessee fans. Why wouldn't you go to a forum for alabammer fans? I'm sure they exist. We know why. Because you get immense pleasure from coming here and being a richard cranium. What a sad life it must be.

I've been to Gainesville..... The year UT was ahead at halftime and ended up losing in the second half. (Peytons junior year, I think) Older folks very respectful...Students not so much. We were getting hit with the small glass liquor bottles. Throwin hard...not tossing. But I'm sure the students at most schools are somewhat like that. I've seen many many Volunteer games....LSU fans are the worst IMO.
 
I have actually went to several UT games sitting in the student section with my son who is a student at UT. I was neutral at those games since UT wasn't playing UF. I actually watched on a few occasions where UT fans were rude to other UT fans. Drunks will be drunks.

I have watched UT fans cuss a 7 year old girl wearing a Gator shirt walking up the aisle. Didn't last long since it was my daughter. Have several more stories but it happens at all stadiums.

Same ol drivel but you keep avoiding the question. Why does a bammer fan that hates Tennessee and doesn't hunt come to a Tennessee hunting site instead of a bammer forum? The only logical answer is you enjoy being a troll and a db.
