It change my pattern much? Every thing is the same on new ammo except size. Going to pattern tomorrow. What do y'all think
 
never got much of a pattern from 5 6 good 7 better lol
 
well I did kill 3 in 1 shot last fall with 5's but it was kind of a fluke, but does show that 5 shot will definitely get the job done. I have only used 5's and 6's and I don't really have a preference as of now. I just got to make sure I can shoot straight and get a few of those pellets into the noggin.

Used to shoot nothing but Winchester HV #5 3" last year tried the Hevishot magnum blend 3" and it outperforms my previous shell quite a bit. The hevishot 3" #7 is sweet out of my gun as well, but am sticking with the magnum blends for now.
 
I am going to pattern some 6's in Win Supreme in a day or two. Whenever my Sims recoil pad comes in. I have been shooting 5's and they do pretty decent at 40 but Im looking for more. Before next ima have me an Indian Creek and try some mag blends.
 
I have always shot the Win Hv #5's until this year. I got a new gun and choke (Mossy 535 tactical and HeviShot .662 Choke) and The #5's wouldn't shoot worth a darn out of the HeviShot Choke or the factory .670 choke. The best pattern I got with the #5's was 98 in a 10" circle at a measured 40 yards.. and this with a polished barrel. Tried the Magblends and got 138 in 10".. Tried the Hevi #6's and got 191 in 10" @ 40. Good even pattern. Might want to try the Hevi #6's as well.
