Kee kee is very deadly in the spring when used at the right time in the right situation.

I always used a scratch box and a box call until I learned to use a mouth call, now I want use anything else, I carry all other calls with me but never have to use one, and if I am letting a bunch get away that's a good thing because I limited out about every year unless I call some in for other people and I don't kill jakes.

I started to ask if you were married. Whatever you do, don't tell her what you have spent on those calls !

Don't order any more calls. You can make the ones you have work. Also, don't toss any of the ones that you didn't like first go around. As you get more comfortable with mouth calls, you may find that if you try them again, you will probably be better with them.

Also, don't be afraid to trim tape or bend frames slightly. Sometimes all it takes is a little better fit in your palate to seal and direct the air flow better which can make all the difference in the world.

I cover my tracks. I only limit myself to one Woodhaven a trip with cash. God help if she ever gets on here and sees these posts or big brother tells her when he comes in n two weeks.

I tried bending some h&s struts the other day and they must use plastic cause it snapped right in half. Kinda got me weary about trying much more. My luck same thing would happen to one of my top ones.

Exactly......or do like I do with my wife and steadily reinforce to her that all of my custom calls are "investments" that my daughters will be able to sell on eBay one day and turn a profit. :tu:
