Yeah I believe so. I know it's absolutely loaded. I'm better at referencing white oaks than I am reds.Looks like a Black Oak?

That's what I'm seeing on our small farm, small. Haven't gotten up to the lease yet. Got a persimmon site to check yet, might have the same resultsUndersized and dropping now from lack of rain

If a man had a white oak that was dropping next to a water hole on the edge of bedding I'd say he would be in the chips opening weekend I'd guess… 2022 was tough for me alsoThat's what I'm afraid of at my place. In the severe drought and total acorn failure of 2022, nearby Swamp White Oaks produced down in the adjoining swampy bottomlands. Zero acorns up in the hills of my place. Every deer in the area was down in those swamps after the acorns and nothing was up in the hills.

Yes sir…like taking candy from babies when it's this dry

He looks ripe for the taking…I'll put the peanut oil on the burner!Sure glad I've got them this year. Some years there's so much rain they're constantly overflowing. This isn't one of those years.
BTW I'm pretty sure that's a booner ..........
The frog, not the deer
Be surprised what animal or fowl that will come to a salt lick .
Same just 2 miles south. We have some but they are few and far between. Was out yesterday hanging a couple of stands and looking for any acorns. The handful I saw on the ground looked stunted for sure. What I wouldn't give for that! Zero Whites on place this year. Just a few Reds. At this point, on a scale from 0 to 10, I'm giving my acorn crop a 0.5.
This is one in the pic is out in front of the house along my gravel drive. I know deer hit the acorns on the driveway in the middle of the night, never tried hunting them in front of the house though. What I wouldn't give for that! Zero Whites on place this year. Loaded white Oak .This was yesterday. This tree is loaded year after year, no idea why. Have a few others around that have similar production.

Same here on the Davidson -Williamson line.My place, Humphreys County, almost no White family acorns at all. Only acorns are on trees in the Red family. About 1 in 10 Red Oaks carrying, and probably 1 in 3 Black Oaks. Almost zero on the White, Mountain Chestnut, or Post Oaks. And for all I know, this drought may be killing the acorns currently on the Reds and Blacks.
