If a man had a white oak that was dropping next to a water hole on the edge of bedding I'd say he would be in the chips opening weekend I'd guess… 2022 was tough for me alsoThat's what I'm afraid of at my place. In the severe drought and total acorn failure of 2022, nearby Swamp White Oaks produced down in the adjoining swampy bottomlands. Zero acorns up in the hills of my place. Every deer in the area was down in those swamps after the acorns and nothing was up in the hills.

He looks ripe for the taking…I'll put the peanut oil on the burner!Sure glad I've got them this year. Some years there's so much rain they're constantly overflowing. This isn't one of those years.
