hahaah thats good stuff! well i can assure you my gun is 2 years old and it has 8 on it so far....my 870 is 10 years old and it has 23 on it so far. I have not put one on my 1100 but when i do it will have >25 on it. But hey everyone has opinions.
besides why do so many people go straight to the AMOUNT a person has killed? why is the number so important? does a higher amount equal a better hunter. I mean geez anyone can kill a turkey if they sit long enough. I am no pro by any means and have worked HARD for some of those birds. i have crawled, ran, fell, rolled...i have pretty much swam and climbed for a kill. I know plenty of guys that I would classify as world class turkey hunters that just choose to not shot that often, they prefer to let others shoot. I just dont get the #'s game that some always seem to go to. Heck i have much more respect for a guy killing birds in areas that are not "covered" up with them, over a guy hunting a big track all to himself that has birds everywhere. Public land hunters that are successful also get mad respect from me...that there is tough sledding!!
Since I only hunt public land here in TN each year, and limit out usually during the first 2 weeks. Does that mean I have mad respect from you?
I spend the rest of my season calling in birds on public grounds for others less skilled and newer to the sport.
