I gotta offer congratulations to the gators. They got a winner. I thought he would be a bust and I was sadly mistaken. All he does is win. With a young team, very few of his own recruits, in his first year, with a team that went 4-8 last year. It's time for the Botch Jones apologists to stop saying young team, all his recruits are freshmen and sophomores, it takes years to rebuild, etc, etc, etc. Some guys win. Some sell snake oil and excuses.

You are wrong Spur. UF didnt finish 4-8 last year. They beat ECU in a bowl.


You are right Spur. MacElhorseface seems to be a good coach. As long as you dont throat slash in front of him, he seems like a good guy.

Hang on..... Time will tell but he has made it interesting and has giving the offense a pulse, something Muschamp couldn't do. Don't forget that Muschamp had the Gators at 12-1 in 2012 and one game from playing from the N/C. Also one correction, the Gators where 7-5 last season and 4-8 the year before...... :tu:

Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping that Mac, a.k.a. "Dr. Pepper" is the answer for UF and is a long term coach for the Gators. I like his attitude and the way he coaches.... :D

I agree CDP seems to be a good one! Also agree with G&B about Muschamp having a good year or two before falling apart. So time will tell.

CBJ so far has completely let down the program when it comes to winning games

I'm a big Gator fan but I'm not going to jump on the "Hype Wagon" just yet when it comes to CJM/Gators. I tried to warn other fans about this and I'm going to take my own advise.... :tu:
 
McElwain and Jones took over completely different teams from a talent standpoint. Not an excuse for Jones but don't think Florida's cupboard was anywhere near as bare as the Vols when Jones came on board. That said there is no excuse for blowing 3 games with 14 point leads.

Time will tell on both but at this point Dr Pepper gets the nod. :tu:

Right now athis very moment in time? I dont think anybody who claims to be a Vol would pass him up.
 
I said before the year 7-5 or 8-4 for UF. I still see 3 losses. LSU, UGA and the SEC title game. :rotf:

100% agree with this. Like the direction things are going, but it's still awful early yet.
