How many of you that shoot drop aways are attaching the cord to the cable slides. I know that Bowtech was putting cable slides on that have the little hole for that. I also bought an after market slide that has it too. I have a pretty good luck with that so far. I like it that way because the cord is not pulling on the down cable. If it is pulling the cables at least it is pulling on both cables instead of one.

Am I the only one that does this? Are there any downsides to doing this?

I won't do it on mine because it will cause the pull rope on the rest to rub the opening in the rest creating friction and wear on the rope. Your bow may be different but on mine it will be pulling up on the rope.

I use a Vapor Trail Limbdriver and you don't attach it to any strings or cables.

I have that rest too, but it was louder than my TT on my alley, but I haven't got to tinker too much with it.

Does it offer full containment?
I'm not up with the latest, since I bought my QAD PRO.
But I want to keep up with what is available in case mine breaks, and I need to replace it quickly.

QAD may offer a similar model now.
Don't know.

I'm loyal to what I have until it breaks.
Sure has a lot of moving parts, which worries me this close to bow season.

Know the feeling?

The limb driver does have a containment bar that came out this year. But I never use full containment. I figure I am going to be moving slow and easy anyway. Unless still hunting which I don't do much of with a bow.

So we've gotten off track. Anybody else tie their rest into the cable slide??

I did, I had a little trouble with timing.

I shot with it like that for awhile and just put it back on my cable. I like it better on the cable.
