My dad has a Kobalt brand one and it works really good.

I have a Kobalt cordless weedeater and it does great. I know that's not what you were asking about but price wise in the Kobalt brand they seem pretty solid.

I have the Kobalt as well. I haven't used it all that much, but it works great for me. My only complaint would be that it clogs easily if you get into honeysuckle. Not sure if that's the brand or what.

I've got the extendable husqvarna battery saw and you'll play out before the battery does. Don't cut any grapevines though it'll throw the chain off every time .
