Mountain Buck … opinions

During archery season here in north Georgia my target buck was killed and left me searching… after many miles I've located what I consider a giant especially for public land. I'm curious as to what age/score range this deer might fall into?

For North Georgia public land that is definitely a giant. Pictures aren't ideal for judging but he appears to be three and a half. I hunted strictly North Georgia public land from 80 through 2015 and never even heard rumors of anything as good as him.

Pics aren't the best for aging but that deer goes over 135 if I was guessing. He's definitely a shooter.

4.5 if that's a mountain buck in North GA. 130+.

I ran 11 cameras all over Pigeon Mountain a few years ago and never once had a buck of that quality.

Who cares, that's a stud mountain buck. Also have you tried to kill him yet? A buck like that is a buck of a lifetime in these mountains.

That's a great deer and if you're hunting public land a true trophy..

I'm not wanting to offend you but deer hunting isn't a contest-there are no winners and loser..,

He might gross low 140s net 130s. As others have said, wall hanger. 4+ year old. If any of that matters, you are hunting the wrong part of the world and wrong place in it.

I don't think it's as much as competitive thing as it is curiosity. Score gives a quantifiable standard for judging size. I couldn't care less what anybody else kills or whether they kill bigger or smaller bucks than me, but I'm still always curious to know what my bucks score. Same as fishing i suppose. I like knowing what s big fish weighs. Not for anybody else. I just like knowing for my own self.

For me it's not getting caught up on how many inches a deer may score its strictly out of curiosity. I have been extremely fortunate to harvest some great deer but I have to admit I've challenged myself to find a "Giant" mountain buck and hunt only that buck. I only post on here to become more informed and hopefully a better hunter. Thank you everyone for your input.

Agree with others 3.5 min. But likely 4.5
Great tine length. Long main beams sweep around front. He'll push upper 130s might gross 140...great buck....good luck hunting!
