It hurts but nice to know that you don't have to worry about them when Spring rolls around. I have enough components stock piled to build TSS shells for a long, long time.
I've thought in the past about handloading with 9.5 shot... since I won't be shooting past 40y, but I can't imagine it would be any more forgiving or effective than what I currently use.
Anyone loaded 1 oz of #10s TSS in a 20g? That may be the cats meow for a more economical shotshell without compromising pattern density for those who limit shots to 40y max.
