I have been trying to pattern my mossberg with the magnablends. Its shoots a great pattern but its shooting about a foot high and a foot to the left. I can allow for it and aim that way at a turkey but that seems a litte too risky. I tried the winchester supremes today but Its not getting the coverage I want. Also tried rem nitro #5 and still not pleased with the results. I am debateing on a red dot scope to correct the magnum blends. Anyone got anymore suggestions?Another load mabey?

IDK Maybe a barrel polishing like some of the other guys have been talking about might help. Sounds like the wad is dragging one way or another coming down the barrel and causing the pattern to be off center. Bent barrel maybe. Heck if its bent Ill just buy it from you. Have to be cheap tho.

JK about the barrel being bent its proly not that. Id say its in the choke/load combo somewhere.

Heres a shot I just took with my buddies tru glo choke. Alot of improvement but still shooting left.

What kind of sight setup has it got. Does it have a bead on the front and one about midways of the barrel or does it have like a rifle sight setup with a post up front and split sight in the rear. I gues what Im asking is can you adjust the sights. If not I would find the best load that patterns good and put a red dot or scope on it to pull the POI back to where you want it.JMO

You shootin 3 1/2's? You might unknowingly be pulling the shot by flinching trying to anticipate the recoil? Just a suggestion.

I am just shooting threes. I thought about that and called my bud to get his choke and he watched me shoot. He said I didnt flinch. Belive me this gun kicks lol. So I guess I will try a red dot. The gun has open fiber optic sights but they cant be adjusted.

If you can swing the cash, look into the Burris FF2 red dot.... with a Marlin 336 mount.... it is supposed to mount right up to your Mossberg receiver.... several guys run that combo over on OG.

every mossy ive owned shot high but they were to the right if you have a kicks to try i would suggest feds with flight controll

It takes a good red dot to hold up to the recoil of turkey loads. BSA is not one of em either. I tried 2 different BSA's and then went to adjustable sights. At the time I was shooting 3.5"s.
