Thinking about purchasing one just wondering if anyone has tried one. What reviews I've found have all been positive

Just curious what about that one that peaks your interest vs others? Looks like a nice vest, on the high end of $ but you get a free hoodie right now so I guess tech it's a price Including that. I'm just always curious why or what your looking for in a product.

Price doesn't bother me on stuff like this. If it's exactly what your wanting and keep it 15years it won't matter what it cost originally

Just looking at it seems nice. I generally don't like integrated pockets for gadgets because if I'm not carrying that gadget it's a wasted space. Cell phone pocket looks nice, not sure I'd like it on a shoulder strap though. Adding weight like that to those areas can make it feel weird or flop around if moving fast. Same reason I don't like them on bino harnesses unless the connection is sound. Only other question I'd have is seat attachment deployment. I prefer the swing type seat connections in the old cabelas vests and Sitka vests. It's reliable, deploys fast, and when not in use is tightly stowed and doesn't move unless you deploy it. I've had some with clip and magnetic closures and they were nice at first but keeping them up or tight was always an issue for me.

Seems highly rated though and material and craftsmanship look really nice.

Looks like a nice vest. Wish they offered more camo options. I'm a real tree guy myself. I'm still using an old H.S strut vest. Might be a nice upgrade for me in a couple of seasons.

I've tried several vests over the years and the one I liked best was called something tatr or tatr something. Drawing a blank on the name but it has the kickstand so you can setup anywhere and don't need a tree. At this point I don't like a vest because they're too hot and just use a fanny pack with an inner tube cushion seat and really like this setup.

Cabelas tactater2 with kickstand I think is what you mean.

Unfortunately they don't make that one anymore

Same im down to a mouth call pocket around my neck, pot call in my pocket, and a shotgun

You just sitting straight on ground butt to earth? Mostly I wear a vest for the seat. It's easier for me to wear one instead of lugging a seat. I can't sit long or be still long without something under me.

A lot depends on where im hunting and how much walking I am doing. Either way I have gone much more to a slim lighter style vest over the years. The "hot" part doesnt bother me much, but the seat is a BIG deal for me. The slim versions out today also allow for a bladder to be added which serves 2 purposes for me. 1 can carry alot more water and its easily accessible and 2 adds a "padding" to my back so my spine doesnt hurt sitting on a tree for a long time.

Ive never been one to carry a lot of "stuff" or even calls so it was an easy transition to me. I still own one with a frame and kick stand that I use on a specific piece of property that is mostly fields with no good trees to use. On those days I take that vest so I can set up on the edge of the field and dont care what trees are around.

Having said all that, I still find a vest to be a useful tool for me. One like Spoon posted looks like a really nice quality one, not the design I prefer but may fit his hunting style and needs much more then mine.

That's it…the tactical tatr. Super comfy but just too hot.

I ordered an inner tube seat from Glenda Green and just clip it onto my pack. You can find her on Facebook and she makes several different things. I can't sit on the ground for 5 minutes without fidgeting.
