Jealously is one of the worse things in hunting. I know I have been at the other end before myself. Sad that people put down others to try to feel superior. Shows a lot of insecurity IMO.

Someone shoots a good buck..I congratulate them. Yall might try it instead of putting them down for doing something they enjoy and being successful at it. Ive seen it too many times. Guy here in Bama shot a stud...all that you heard was it had to be a fenced deer. No..it had to be poached!...No bet he shot it at night under lights! None turned out to be true. It was a fair chase stud shot on their property but that did not stop the slander. SMDH.
I despise Pettiness from grown men. Sure seems to be a lot of it demonstrated in this thread for sure. If you have to denigrate others achievements to feel good about yourself..you have some serious problems and some serious soul searching might be called for.

While reading all of this I just have to think about what ole bowriter would have to say about these boys. I can just imagine what the conversation would sound like around the breakfast table in that little store where I first met him.
I'm gonna need some clarification here….hearing from all these "they shoot pet deer" guys and the, they shouldn't be bragging or posting…..What exactly do you anti Seek guys say constitutes a "pet" deer? What's the cutoff on acreage? Proximity to a house? I killed my second largest buck on a 25 acre farm but the landowner lives on it, too, even has a pool. Pet? Is there a distance from said house? Some of Seek vids are on properties that join Interstate ride away….those pets? What if I hunt a 70 acre farm but the neighbors feed deer…pets? Is there a magic line somewhere a deer has to cross to turn back to "wild"? If I put out minerals in the summer or plant food plots are those deer now "pets". And I think I've determined now that it may be ok to shoot doe pets but not bucks? Or is it ok to shoot a buck as long as it doesn't score a certain number? I did shoot my first booner last year and I immediately told my wife and sent some pics to a few buddies. I even went as far as to post a pic on a social media platform. I guess I was an arrogant bragger and shouldn't have been excited or wanted to share that picture with my friends but… my bad… right? So many questions ??? Those Seek fellas have done some great scouting, hunting, and killed some giants. They put out a product that I enjoy watching. Heck, I think I'd enjoy sharing a scouting session or a hunt with those guys as long as I didn't have to drive thru Atlanta to meet them. Like I said before I really need some clarification on this…the only thing I've learned for certain from this thread is no one is jealous of someone else shooting a big buck. That has been specified.

I don't think it's an acreage thing. We have a doe that eats corn out of your hand. I don't think it would be a challenge to kill her. I went to my carry permit. The guy let a buck walk in to his house and he put down corn in a dog bowl. I don't think it would be a challenge to kill him.
What's a challenge? to each his own to decide.
