The letter of understanding between Currie and Schiano was not signed by the Chancellor so in effect it was not a done deal. The AD can't make a valid final offer to a prospective coach without the Chancellor signing off on it, i.e, Jeff Brohm.

That's my sense of it. Obviously lawyers will get involved and Schiano may get something in the end but he ain't getting 20 mil.
