has anyone shot this bow? thoughts? i came across a deal for a 2011 strother infinity and couldn't pass it up.

I'ts a nice bow has a stiff draw but was still smooth If that makes sense, loads up quick similar to the Evo. my buddy had one the grip was alot like the Elite ,which wasn't for me but my friend loved it .Good speed ,quiet and pretty quick, and a solid wall!!my friend just got the rush and loves it aswell . you should be happy, they make nice bows!!

Anything Kevin Strother designs has to be decent. I'm still shooting the Allegiance that he designed when he was back at bowtech. If I had the $$ I would have tried some of the Elite stuff that he designed and the Strother archery stuff. I really like his take on binary cams.

The infinity looks to maintain ample amount of speed with a generous brace height. Out of what is on the website that would be my pick to try.

never heard of it but cant for the life of me figure out how any bow mftr makes it beyond the top 10 companies....Matthews has most folks in their back pocket and that is a lot of business.

The gentleman that started the Company, Kevin Strother, was a lead engineer for Bowtech back in the day, and then started Elite Archery. So technically he is top 10. Mathews makes great bows, but I would say a lot of their success is do to good marketing.

The infinity is a great shooting bow. It is dead in the hand, very quiet and fast with my 28.5 in. draw. As a matter of fact, it shoots so good my dad has confiscated it and plans on keeping it. I guess he got a great father's day gift. lol

I guess I'll have to find another bow to tinker with.
