Right now, with a total acorn bust, food plots not producing because of the drought, and scrapes not being worked yet, I've struggling to get good trail-cam pictures. However, I did find that looking for good terrain features near any type of natural browse has been my best bet. I've been setting up cameras to cover saddles in ridges near overgrown timber cuts with lots of natural browse, and I'm finally getting a steady parade of bucks moving out of the cuts and through the saddles. Just a heads up for anyone else struggling to get good pictures before scraping begins in earnest next month.
