Anyone else noticed that www.chasingame.com hasn't initiated any new trail cam reviews since August 2015?

I have generally appreciated their reviews, although they have never been any kind of guarantee that your results would be similar. Most of the trail cams have such a poor quality control during manufacture that it's a total crap shoot as to whether the one you purchase will work as advertised, even when a particular brand/model gets great reviews.

Yes I have noticed that, but not sure why. I used to be a CG junkie when I ran home brews, but rarely get on their any more, and when so, just to browse the forum and read what the users are saying. Since making the switch to Reconyx BF cams, I rarely need/read reviews except when advising friends and fellow hunters who are buying sub $200 cameras. For those cams, I typically recommend Covert and Browning, with a specific year and model recommended, not just a name brand, as so many do in err.

I did notice that the reviews are all starting to use the same wording. They are getting lazy. I will post honest reviews here on my two new Moultrie A7I black flash cameras. I put them out last week over corn. I'm going to go back this week and maybe plop some Trophy Rock in front of them.

I reached out to the owner Anthony and unfortunately, this was his response. He told me I could share with my friends.

Andy,

I am in a transition. Divorce and business failure, loss of all income. Now reinvented myself, reinvented cg website with new store. Reviews are the only thing remaing to get back on track. Very busy now working for a company rather than myself. Very pushy owner. Working nights and weekends .... hopefully wont always be this way. I hope to get back to reviews as soon as I can get a breather.

Thanks,
Anthony
