Stayed home today. Don't like hunting in this warm weather. First opening of muzzleloader I've missed in many of years

Had a doe come through, then a one horn spike following, then a nice buck. It's so thick in here I couldn't get a shot at him. Man! This stuff never gets old!!

Moved to a blind after it started raining. Right after moving had this little button show up.

Heard 2 more shots in the last couple minutes.

Little spike just came in, worked scrape then came in directly to the acorns under the tree next to me.

Just had a fork horn come through pushing a little doe.

Just watched a single doe come into my plot, within maybe two minutes a decent 6 came out upwind of her, saw her and chase was on. Before they even left my view this little 3 point came up from my right.

Got a doe on the way out this morning. Had to leave early to watch my granddaughter cheer in her first game.

Just setup for a long evening hunt. Dang it is hot out. Game day from the tree

Been in about 25 minutes. It is warm. Only night pics of deer for last week here.

Walked back out about 1:30 when the rain let up. Could be really good, supposed to be a break in the rain about 2:45 according to radar. Already had 2 little bucks trailing a doe right after I took these pics, had only been in the stand about 10 minutes.

Light drizzle rain. I'm nice and dry in the box blind. Had 17 hens in the plot when I got here.

Don't have much private to hunt. Found some tva land I haven't seen anyone on. Scouted in around lunch time and found some sign and set down.

Hunted the stand Lade killed the doe I'm last year but I'm having no sightings at all . Heard about 5-6 shots only . The stand I really wanted to hunt wind wasn't exactly right.
