I have never tried fanning,decoying, or blinds setterman. Only calling as you do. I just don't see why someone trying something new and legal and different than YOUR way of thinking how turkey hunting should be or used to be gets under your skin so much?

why are you so worried about what Setterman thinks, its seems you are the one letting his opinion get under your skin.

It's not getting under my skin. I respect him and the way he hunts, I hunt the same way as him I just don't see why he or you can put down or think that fanning is any easier or less difficult than calling when you haven't tried it? It looks easy on the videos but then again so does calling.

I'm changing my tactics this year after reading this thread. I'm not gonna use a blind, call, decoy, fan, or shotgun but am going to pour corn out in the middle of a field and sit 100 yards away with my 17hmr and only take head shots. op:
