Fanning, reaping,....

It's not even about the butterball. It's about the whole shopping experience. Kroger is OK, Publix has the best. If you buy your turkey at Aldi then you are a cheater who is ruining the sport.

Yep some of us gotta work in the morning. We aren't old enough to be retired and can hunt every day of turkey season or atleast old enough to have that much vacation.

Setter man I'll be glad to come show you how to kill those field turkeys. I know field turkeys are tough because they pitch down and just strut around all day.. We have hundreds of acres of fresh clear cut that's the same, they just get out there n strut... I killed 2 of my 3 birds in and around that cutover. And missed one.

Do the question is on your property me with calls you with a fan, who kills first? Given equal hunting time? If it's so easy?...

# of turkey's killed doesn't matter, you probly are a better turkey hunter than I given I've only turkey hunted for 5 yrs. But if I could hunt every day of the season I could probly kill a dozen.. But I only get to go 5-10'times a yr..

Speaking of that, that has a lot to do with mindset. If I got to go a lot, i likely would just fool around w the same ole bird, and try to call him in.. Cuz I wouldn't wanna limit out to quick...

Think you have me confused with someone else, I don't fan and have never resorted to decoys or blinds.

I also kill field turkeys every year without too many issues.

Just for the record, I'm 39 and not retired by any means, just fortunate to have a career/means that allows me to travel to 5 different states and hunt basically whenever I want
