I've been a Cubs fan since the late 60's. Long suffering fan. Going to Wrigley Field in 30 minutes to watch them play the Pirates tonight. Probably have a couple of beers at a bar in Wrigleyville before the game. Should be fun, can't wait.
Took the green line to Lake then the red line to Addison. Only way to go to thee game. Full of Cub fans.1060 west addison
My mom grew up at 2047 w.Addison.
We used to walk to the games and parked at the grandparents.
We definately made the rounds.Recommend going early as a Cub fan on your first trip. Makes time to walk Waveland and visit Harry.

It was awesome. I've been to Chicago several times but my wife had never been. She was pretty awestruck. Couldn't believe how clean the city was. She also had never ridden on a public train system. Chicago is one of the easiest cities to travel in.How was your overall trip?
See anything cool?

We went out on the lake. Went through the lock and cruised around for awhile.2.6 million people.
I miss trolling the lakefront for coho salmon.
Best lakefront of any major city.
