Omelet challenge

Friends and TNDEER family, am I the only one that likes salsa with my omelette
For me, it depends on the filling. Denver omelette, bring on the salsa, hot sauce, extra jalapeño, whatever! Ham and cheese, I'm a purist…just diced ham and velveeta. That mushroom omelette I made last night wouldn't work well at all with salsa, IMHO.

Tonight's omelette is a standard bacon and cheese with Kinder's chili crunch seasoning.

I guess I cheat when I make an omelet. I've got a hinged omelet pan that takes the bad fold out of the game. 3 eggs in the blender to give them some volume (fluffy), open up the omelet pan and add a little butter on each side, put my fillings on the handle side of the pan to sauté a bit, pour half of the eggs in each side of the pan, cook on mid-low until well set then close the pan. Gotta flip the pan a time or two to cook evenly on each side. When ready, open up the pan, cover with a dinner plate and flip upside down...perfection.

Got a crisp recipe you wanna share? We like trying different ones
I wish. I think my wife just adds it to eggs when she's frying them. When she's making ramen, I just stay out of the kitchen till it's done. There are times when my eyes almost start to water due to the spice in the kitchen. lol.

I may see if I can get the one my wife and daughter's use and post up this week. If anyone has any others, feel free to toss it up here. So many ways to make the stuff and all of em I've tried are delicious. The Thai restaurant hates to see me coming. They know they about to actually have to clean their spice tray the one time this year because I am gonna clean it out. Love all that stuff.

Had a 4 egg omelet last night, just 4 cheese blend and Canadian bacon. Didn't take any pics. I bought two trays of eggs at Sam's yesterday, price has gone up to $8.24 for two dozen. Hope food prices start coming back down soon.

Made em last night. First one was a basic ham and cheese for my youngest - picky 15 year old. Second pic was mine. Ham, spinach, tomato, orange bell and a few jalapeno slices, Colby jack cheese. Loved the flavor combo on mine but it seemed like parts of it were maybe 30 seconds undercooked. Oh well, everyone finished their plates. Made French toast for the first time in about a decade and that was a fan favorite as well
