I guess I'm on the opposite side of this one. I am jealous that they ( any and all of them) get to hunt for a living.

I appreciate what a nice buck that is.

The video actually helped his case with this one (I think) I didn't watch the whole thing. At least he was hanging in a wooded "looking" area. If you didn't know it was a suburban deer hunt could you tell from the video? Idk

Hunting in a mowed lawn shooting a deer that would probably hand feed, that just isn't for me.

Not sure where that puts me fanboy or anti fanboy. I guess I just fall in the don't give a damn section.

Now as far as Jonathon, I guess you can call me a fanboy if you want. I've spent a lot of hours in the woods with him and consider him a good friend. Same for Adrian. He is a good friend of mine also. I catch him on some Tethrd stuff every once in awhile. I know them I watch them and will continue to support them.

I never actually met Jonathan but we've spoken alot. Though I'm not a fan of the social media stuff, he is a very knowledgeable hunter and outdoorsman and Im impressed by the way he grew on this site. I dont keep up with him much anymore because he doesn't hang around here like he used to, but I like to think him as a friend even if it's just thru this site. I don't see you as a fanboy. Your not blind or lacking reading comprehension like some on here. Your not attacking others because they don't agree with you. As far as being jealous, I could care less. I would hate to make my escape from the troubles and stress of life my job. If these guys can do it more power to them. I don't think it does our sport alot of good the way some of them act. This whole thread has been blown way out of proportion and I'm aware I've been a part of that, it's been fun lol
 
I think there is a BIG difference between the YouTubers....

What seek 1 did (and has done... and will continue to do) offends the very nature and essence of what most here consider fair chase hunting. Shooting backyard bucks whose senses have been dulled and don't view mankind as an existential threat, while at the same time claiming they have done something incredible just doesn't sit well with the majority here.

Other youtubers hunt ethically, usually pursuing guinely wild game.. and doing so, usually rightfully earn respect from the majority here in the way they hunt.

That being said, most of the youtubers give away too much information about where they hunt (THP is notorious for this) which has drastically increased hunting pressure on spots for locals, degrading the quality of hunting. Some spots have even been nearly completely ruined by the youtubers.

Even those youtubers like Catman who try to be careful about revealing where they are hunting give away too much, even if unintended... for example, when Catman goes to Kentucky to kill a turkey, it's far too obvious he is hunting on the KY side of Dale Hollow lake.

Lets face it... whitetails are like cockroaches... you just about can't kill them off... but with how other game species are rapidly declining (turkeys, antelope, mules, elk, etc) while the demand for tags are exponentially increasing... well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see what the future of hunting besides small game and whitetails is going to become.... wait 20 years for a tag, or fork out crazy $$$$ to jump the line.

It is easy to figure out where anyone kills an animal in KY if they report it legally. Just go KY game check here and click the link in the pic below:

I showed all the fan boys the above on Facebook groups and you'd thought I'd messed around with their gal. lol. One fan boy even did a lot of digging and called into my work and tried to get me in trouble for posting publicly available information (i just showed where the YouTubers killed their KY turkeys in spring 2021). Good times, good times.
 
Well one thing for sure. This many pages shows just how Petty and negative a lot of people can be .
I guess if you dont do what they like or how they do it , well it is time to get canceled and to celebrate people getting canceled !

Hmmmm......Sounds like a familiar mantra...one of the democratic party.

The hypocrisy here knows no bounds. 🤣

Yep, makes perfect sense. They don't agree with me and they hurt my feelings. They must be a liberal.
 
And whining and bit#$ing for 45 pages over someone legally shooting a big buck with a bow in Fair Chase conditions : ( some of you might need to look up what that is obviously from your lack of understanding it), and them putting it on youtube bothers some whiney people so much they rant for 45 pages over it.

Like a bunch of Junior High school girls in here sometimes. Yall need to grow up IMO. Youre embarrasing yourselves and other hunters with your whining.

And if it is so easy..why are not more people doing it? Or you? Please....yall need some Peanut Butter to go with your Jelly and some cheese to go with your WHINE

I think when everything calms down we should all get together maybe in someone's neighborhood you know kind of like a meet and greet. We could all sit around and drink beer and BBQ and patch things up. Maybe share some hunting stories.

Just not my thing ...
There's a neighborhood about 3 miles from me that is well known locally to produce several giants every year for some. My dentist lives there & has asked me for years to come kill them all as they destroy their landscaping. A few years ago when Drury Bros had some kind of televised hunt competition going, a couple local brothers went in there & killed a giant on film that got them in the competition. Legal, yeah but it sure didn't set well with me.
