When the shop super questioned him, he found that he indeed could not read the tape measure. I put the fault just as much on the slack hiring process as the guy who said he knew how to measure parts.
I wouldn't even use my Mitutoyo calipers to get below .001". There are much more accurate measuring devices. I learned to read vernier calipers before digital was a thing.

Must have been a graduate of the "If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit" school of thought.

My experience with TGK was kind of a letdown. Be interested in field and Tip performance. I broke about ten of them and bent at least that many.
I shot a good sized doe at ~65yds through the lungs last year. Performance was very similar to a ballistic tip. Core punched straight through, but the jacket was just under the offside skin. Deer dropped and flopped. About what I expected for PRC velocities at that range. I have no complaints so far. They are accurate and relatively inexpensive.
Always makes me happy to see someone else loading some 7WSMs this time of year
What ya pushing the 140 TGK with in your PRC?
I've got a 24x on my 6.5 CM and it's great at 500
I'm using MagPro just because I have bunches of it for my WSM's. Just under 1/2MOA at 200 yards in my Seekins PH2.
