The most obnoxious fans...by far Alabama and Florida. I would say that most opposing fans are treated rudely equally across the board in student sections. Do not go to Gainesville wearing orange and not expect to get in at least one altercation, if you stop walking be prepared to start swinging and count on being out manned 10 to 1

6. Florida

Florida fans are literally insane. I can find almost no other fans that are as rude and disrespectful as Gator fans.

There is a saying out there that if other fans drink their team's Kool-Aid, then Gator fans drink Gatorade—and a lot of it.

There are lots of reports of Florida fans spitting beer over opposing fans, verbally attacking them, and being arrested. The Tuscaloosa police even watched out for certain Florida fans after posting a video online. 

Other SEC fans are more than enthusiastic to claim Gator fans are some of the rudest, most classless and craziest in their conference.  

^^^^^^ The vols were ranked 7th on this list! But Hey that's one spot better then UF :tu:
 
The longer this thread lasts, the more I am leaning towards vol fans being the worst. I have had vol fans at memorial gym try their hardest to start a fight with me (us) wether they win or lose because I was a Vandy fan. All fans can be obnoxious

All fans, especially students can be obnoxious. I worked in the student section at tn games for years and I have seen it. But just my experience as tn fan, Florida and alabama by far are worse. But I would say it depends on what school you are rooting for. For Florida it may be tn fans or fsu fans, for alabama it may be auburn fans, etc.
 
Well, it look likes we haven't been able to reach a consensus at to the worst fans in the SEC (although Alabama seems to be leading the way).

The good news is that at least we all agreed that ND has the best fans in college football. :party:

If the rest of em are anything like you, and I'd bet money they are, they could probably beat Bama in a fist fight for the top spot. :rotf: :rotf: :pop: :pop:
 
Naw but I do kinda favor a fan of a team who is tied 4-4 against ND.


I'm also pretty sure that before ND won 2 straight, TN won 3 straight.
 
I thought of a tie breaker. If the alumni hate the fans because they are an embarrassment to the university, those fans win the prize. I have a friend that graduated from Alabama as did her husband. They say the alumni hate Bandwagon Nation worse than Auburn fans do. If there was any doubt, alabammer's Updyke Faithful get the title! [emoji122] [emoji122]
 
I went to a South Carolina game in Columbia years ago. I can't say that they were the worst fans because i could not understand what most of them were saying. I felt it a good idea to put my wallet in my front pocket though.
 
After looking at many many list on the web, even a couple were they took votes, Bama and LSU always seem to be at the top of them list.
