Ain't got a pond. Water hole for cows about 500 yards away. A creek you can jump across about a mile away. A bird bath in the back yard where these were. They must have fished some place out and were migrating.

There is a reason folks trap them!

You can spend a lot of money maintaining a farm pond for your enjoyment and these little suckers will kill it all and wipe it away in a heartbeat.
